My photographs of the beach on Norderney Island focus on the curious forms of washed-up seaweed that the tide leaves behind. In their tangled shapes, I often see figures, creatures, and fleeting stories emerging from the sand. The absence of color highlights their textures and contours, transforming these organic remnants into expressive silhouettes. Each image captures a moment of transformation — where nature’s randomness meets human imagination. Through this work, I explore the poetic boundary between reality and perception, where the sea quietly sketches its own mythology.
