My photography trip through India took me from Delhi, Agra, and Varanasi to Darjeeling, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, and Calcutta. The journey led through busy streets, crowded markets, quiet mountain regions, and tea gardens, with constantly changing impressions along the way. I was drawn to the everyday moments – from sacred cows wandering through the streets to intimate rituals and encounters with people. In Varanasi, the burning ghats offered a particularly powerful and timeless experience. Light, color, and movement shaped many of the photographs, revealing the contrasts between the different places I passed through. The images are a personal record of a journey through a country that is impossible to capture in a single impression.
