My color photographs of Isla de Sol capture the vivid character of life on Lake Titicaca. The deep blue of the water, sunlit hills, terraced fields, and traditional clothing create a landscape full of warmth and contrast. I am drawn to the way light changes the island throughout the day – across the water, along the hillsides, and through the small moments of everyday life. The photographs explore the connection between people, landscape, and light. Together, the images offer a glimpse of Isla de Sol as I experienced it: vibrant, quiet, and closely connected to its surroundings.
