My black and white photographs from Norderney Island focus on the curious shapes of seaweed left behind by the tide. In their tangled forms, I often see figures, creatures, and small stories emerging from the sand. Without color, the textures and contours become more pronounced, turning these natural remnants into expressive silhouettes. Each image captures a moment where nature’s randomness meets human imagination. Through this work, I explore the space between what we see and what we imagine — where the sea quietly creates its own stories.
